Built from the problems we kept meeting

Spreadsheets counted the trades but never showed them. Screenshots in a chat showed them but counted nothing. We built the thing that does both.

Late 2024

Journaling first

An agency stalled on the first attempt, so we built it ourselves — starting where the pain was: logging a trade with its chart, its reason and its outcome in one place.

A better decision after every trade.

Record why you took it, test the idea before risking money, and use the result to improve the next one.

Comparisons are written and tested by Avinash, trading since 2020. Nothing here is financial advice — the disclaimer covers that properly.

What we hold to

Evidence

Every tool we compare is tested on its own public free plan, on a stated date. Pricing and limits change quietly, so we record what was true when we checked.

Honesty

Where a competitor does something better, the post says so. A comparison that never loses a row is marketing wearing a table.

Transparency

We build one of the tools we compare, which is a real conflict of interest. We disclose it in every post where it appears and tell you to test the alternatives.

Access

The free plan has no time limit and takes no card. A trader early enough to need a journal most is the one least able to pay for one.

People behind Traders Journal

Everyone listed works on the product directly.

Before you trust us with your record

What happens to my trades if I stop paying?

Dropping back to the Free plan does not delete anything you have logged. Free has no time limit and takes no card, so the journal you build is not held hostage by a subscription.

Who actually reviews the tools you compare?

Avinash, who has traded since 2020 and runs testing on each tool's own public free plan. His full trading history — including the strategies that stopped working and why — is on his profile.

You compare yourselves against competitors. Why would I trust that?

Because we publish the standards first and lose rows in our own tables. Where a competitor does something better, the post says so. Check any comparison against the tool itself — that is the point of naming the date and the plan.

Do you take money from the tools you review?

No payment and no affiliate commission from any competitor. Traders Journal is our own product, which is a real conflict of interest, so we disclose it in every post where it appears.

Do you sell my data?

No — the privacy policy states plainly that we do not sell your personal data, and it sets out what we do collect and why. We would rather point you at the binding document than paraphrase it here.

Is any of this financial advice?

No, and nothing here promises a profit. A journal shows you what you did; it does not make you profitable. The disclaimer covers this properly.
