The record
Including the strategies that stopped working, and why.
2020
Started trading, deliberately small
New, so I kept capital small and refused to scale until I found some edge. I made mistakes, but rarely paid heavily for the same one twice.
2021
Excel showed numbers, not the trade
The ratios were right; the chart I was looking at was missing. Telegram gave every trade a screenshot and a reason. That gap is what this product closes.
2022
The strategy that stopped climbing
Bought courses, followed the rules properly. Worked a few months, then flattened. A profitable strategy still has cycles.
2023
Backtesting replaced hope with evidence
I needed the normal drawdown, the weak conditions, the trades worth skipping. Backtesting showed when the rules had evidence and when they did not.
2024
Moved to rule-based automation
My journal showed execution was hurting decent strategies — late entries, wider stops, weeks waiting for one setup. Rules removed the mood.
2024–2025
Seven profitable months, then the rules changed
Eleven months of zero-DTE straddles and strangles; seven profitable, the rest near breakeven. SEBI limited weekly options and the conditions behind the system went away. I stopped rather than defend it.
2025
Positional trading into long-term investing
Bigger capital changed the maths: less screen time, fewer charges, lower tax on applicable listed-equity gains. Style is a fit problem, not a status ladder.
