Releases

A new release every Friday.

Paper trading, live Tradovate sync, and a much deeper chart history

The bigger of the two releases: paper trading arrives on Supercharts, Tradovate accounts sync live and read-only, and chart history now scales with your plan instead of stopping at a fixed wall. Backtesting and the daily journal also got several reliability fixes.

  • Paper trade directly on Supercharts, no real money at risk
  • Tradovate live accounts sync automatically over a read-only connection
  • Chart history now scales with your plan — 5,000 candles free, 10,000 Premium
  • GQ Signals now reads RSI, and the GQ Algo indicator is available on your charts
  • Show or hide drawings, indicators, and positions independently on any chart
Paper trading on Supercharts
  • Turn it on in Settings and place buy and sell orders straight from the chart with a default paper balance — no real money at risk. Your open paper positions and running P&L sit beside the chart the same way live trades do.

Tradovate accounts sync live
  • Connect a Tradovate account once over OAuth and your fills land in your journal on their own — no more manual statement uploads. The connection is read-only: Traders Journal can see your trades, and can never place, modify, or cancel an order.

Chart history now scales with your plan
  • Free accounts can scroll back through 5,000 candles, Premium through 10,000 — both well past the old fixed limit.
  • When you hit the end of what's available, the chart tells you instead of just stopping.
  • Panes on the same chart now share one copy of the price data instead of each loading its own, so switching timeframes is faster.

New signal tools
  • GQ Signals now factors in RSI as part of its read, and the GQ Algo indicator is available to add to any chart.

Chart layers you can hide
  • Drawings, indicators, and position markers each got their own visibility toggle, so you can strip a chart back to only what you're reviewing without deleting anything. Hidden layers stay saved and come back when you re-enable them.

Smoother backtesting
  • Replay no longer yanks the chart forward while you're stepping through a session.
  • Saving a trade from Backtesting no longer errors out.
  • Stop-loss and take-profit lines that used to get stuck mid-drag now move cleanly.

Daily Journal saves reliably
  • Custom fields you add to a daily journal entry now save every time, instead of occasionally getting dropped.

TradeZero and Tastytrade imports, honest equity curves, and sharper drawing tools

This release cleans up how money enters your account and how you mark it up on the chart. Two more brokers import automatically, deposits and withdrawals stop distorting your returns, and drawing on Supercharts got four real upgrades.

  • TradeZero and Tastytrade statements now import and match to trades automatically
  • Deposits and withdrawals are tracked separately, so your equity curve reflects trading, not transfers
  • WaveScope, a new momentum and turning-point indicator, is live on Supercharts
  • Replay rewinds, and every open chart steps through history in sync
  • Four drawing tool upgrades: measure by date and price, text labels, extended trend lines, more favourites
TradeZero and Tastytrade import automatically
  • Drop in a TradeZero or Tastytrade statement and we match every fill to a trade for you, the same way NinjaTrader and Tradovate statements already work. No manual entry, no reformatting the file first.

Deposits and withdrawals stop skewing your returns
  • Add money to an account or pull money out, and it's now recorded as a cash flow, not a trade. Your equity curve and account balance use that record to separate what you put in from what you actually made trading, so your returns stay honest.

WaveScope: a new momentum indicator
  • WaveScope reads momentum and turning points and sits on Supercharts like any other indicator, with its own settings panel so you can tune it to your style.

Four drawing tool upgrades
  • Measure a move by date and price at once with the new range tool, instead of running two separate measurements.
  • Add your own text labels directly onto any drawing.
  • Trend lines now extend out to the right, so you can project a line forward instead of redrawing it.
  • Your favourite tools list is no longer capped at a fixed number — pin as many as you actually use.

Replay rewinds and stays in sync
  • Replay now runs backward as well as forward, and if you have more than one chart open, they all step through the same history together instead of drifting apart.
